Saudi King Suleman awarded with Turkish Highest Civil Award 

ANKARA: Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz has been awarded with Turkish Highest Civil Award by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

 

Erdogan lauded King Salman’s role in strengthening relations between two countries and committed to work on regional issues.

 

Both the leaders discussed the regional issues including Palestine and Syria and claimed to take a mutual stance to solve the issues.

 

King Salman said “The reality today requires us to work together to create a suitable environment that will allow the peoples of the countries in the region to achieve their security, stability and development related aspirations.”

 

Earlier upon arrival, Turkish President personally received King Salman and red carpet reception was given to him.

 

Both countries also foght on the similar side in Syria and Saudi Arabia also established its airstrikes from a Turkish airbase to counter ISIS.

 

King Salman thanked Turkish President to participate in 39 Muslim countries military alliance “North Thunder” and called it a clear message to enemies.
