ISLAMABAD: PTI government to give another blow to PML N leader Maryam NawazSharif.
The federal government on Monday decided to put the name of Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on the Exit Control List(ECL) in Chaudhry sugar mills case.
The federal cabinet’s sub-committee has decided to place Maryam Nawaz’sname on ECL after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had recommendedputting the PML-N leader on ECL.
This recommendation was made in a letter penned by the NAB Lahore to theInterior Ministry to place Maryam’s name on the ECL in Chaudhry Sugar Millscase.
It is to be mentioned here that Maryam Nawaz’s name is already placed onthe Exit Control List (ECL) in Al Azizia reference, which she hadchallenged in the LHC. The high court is set to Maryam Nawaz’s plea seekingremoval of her name from the ECL on January 15.
