Speaking in a conversation he said that Nawaz Sharif's legal team will deal with his legal matters. Thursday is the CEC meeting of the People's Party, and the political situation of the People's Party will become clear after the meeting.
He said that Nawaz Sharif is facing courts; if relief is granted, it's a different matter. We wish well for Nawaz Sharif. A level playing field should be provided to everyone. The situation of PTI Chairman is different after the events of May 9th.
On the other hand, the opposition leader in the National Assembly and the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Khurram Dastgir, and the leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Qamar Zaman Kaira, said during a Geo News program that the President does not have the authority to set an election date.
The leaders of both parties have said that announcing a date for the election will only further destabilize the country. Furthermore, it has been reported that the Pakistan People's Party is focusing on Punjab, while the Muslim League (N) has set its sights on Sindh. According to sources, important league members have suggested that the top leadership of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) should initiate an immediate contact campaign in Sindh to counter the Pakistan People's Party. Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Organizer of the League, has requested the social media team in Sindh to become active and effective.
Maryam Nawaz has directed that the focus should be on the youth of Sindh, and a new organization called the Muslim League (N) Youth Wing should be formed. It is reported that Maryam Nawaz will soon undertake an organizational tour of Sindh. On the other hand, according to sources, the Pakistan People's Party has stated that former President Asif Ali Zardari has made important decisions by informing Nawaz Sharif of the current situation and has sent an important message to the party leadership through Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
