Despite India's win against Srilanka, big challenge remains for Pakistan in ACC

DIndia's victory over Sri Lanka, Pakistan has received good news. Despite an easy win by the Indian team, Pakistan's net run rate couldn't surpass Sri Lanka's, and the Lankans still have a better net run rate than the national team. Following India's win in the fourth match of the Super 4 stage against Sri Lanka in Colombo, they secured a place in the Asia Cup final.
This victory against Sri Lanka has also improved Pakistan's chances of reaching the final. However, despite Sri Lanka's loss to India, Pakistan's national team still faces a significant challenge. After the completion of all four matches in the Super 4 stage, Sri Lanka is still ahead of Pakistan in the points table due to a much better net run rate.
Both Pakistan and Sri Lanka have 2 points each, but Sri Lanka has a net run rate of -0.20, which is better than Pakistan's net run rate of -1.892.
Therefore, Pakistan will need to secure a significant victory against Sri Lanka in the scheduled match on September 14th to reach the final. If Pakistan fails to improve its net run rate despite a win on September 14th, their chances of reaching the final will be almost eliminated. If it rains during the match or Pakistan loses, their journey in the tournament will also come to an end.
It's clear that there are only 3 matches left in the Asia Cup tournament now. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will face off on September 14th, while India and Bangladesh will meet on September 15th. The tournament's final will be played on September 17th after the conclusion of the Super 4 stage on September 15th. It's important to note that all remaining matches in the tournament are also susceptible to weather disruptions
