KABUL - Afghan Taliban claim killing 200 Commandos, government rejects report.
Afghan Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid issued a statement claiming responsibility for the deadly suicide attack upon Afghan special forces base in Kabul, Reuters has reported.
Afghan Taliban claimed suicide blast killed more than 200 commandos. The insurgents routinely issue exaggerated casualty claims.
Mujahid said the bomber had been infiltrated into the base well before the attack.
Afghan government rejected the claims and put casualties of forces at 7.
