Pakistan takes a strong stance in favour of Palestine against Israel

In Islamabad, the federal cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, expressed strong condemnation for the Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
They called for an immediate end to the air raids and the removal of the blockade to facilitate the delivery of essential relief supplies to the Gaza civilians.
Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi, in a post-meeting press conference, mentioned that the ministers also gave their approval to a proposal for hiring the Consortium for Financial Advisory to oversee the privatization of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
The federal cabinet emphasized the need for an immediate halt to the Israeli bombardment in Gaza, along with the demand to lift the blockade, ensuring the delivery of essential relief supplies to the people in Gaza.
They strongly condemned Israel's airstrikes, particularly when targeting civilians in Gaza, and expressed concerns over the ongoing volatile situation arising from Israel's long-standing illegal occupation and oppression of Palestinians, as well as its violations of Security Council resolutions.
“The forum strongly condemned Israel's bombardment, particularly targeting civilians in Gaza besides expressing concern over the volatile situation stemming from Israel’s illegal occupation, oppression of Palestinians for decades and blatant violations of the Security Council resolutions,” Solangi said.
