The Indian police have arrested the individual who issued threats to attack the 'Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium,' the world's largest stadium.
According to Indian media reports, the Ahmedabad Crime Branch has taken the person who threatened to attack Narendra Modi Stadium into custody. The arrested person is accused of sending an email containing a threat of an explosion at the stadium.
The Crime Branch officials have stated that the individual was apprehended in the city of Rajkot, Gujarat.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Indian media had claimed that there was a security threat of terrorism during the matches of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023, which were to be held in Ahmedabad.
According to media reports, the Mumbai police received an email that threatened to target Ahmedabad Cricket Stadium and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi with an explosion.
It is also worth remembering that the 13th edition of the World Cup, where Pakistan and India are set to clash, will also be played at the same venue in Ahmedabad on October 14th.
