BCCIs honorary secretary, Jay Shah, welcomed Pakistan Cricket Board's management committee chairman, Zaka Ashraf, to India on the occasion of Pakistan and India's World Cup match in Ahmedabad on October 14.

According to details, Zaka Ashraf is heading to India on BCCI's invitation for this significant event, where he will be present to boost the morale of the Pakistani team, who have reached this stage through their hard work and dedication. He expressed the importance of his team's support and hopes that they will make us proud with their excellent performance.

Before this, Jay Shah and Zaka Ashraf had a telephone conversation in which Jay Shah expressed his joy at Zaka Ashraf's visit to India. He also mentioned that they would arrange meetings with other officials during Zaka Ashraf's stay in India to discuss how they can enhance and progress cricket relations between both countries.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee, Zaka Ashraf, mentioned that visas for fans will be issued soon. He praised the national team's recent performance against Sri Lanka and expressed confidence in their upcoming matches, stating that the entire team appears to be in great form.

Zaka Ashraf further stated that he had received his visa and would be heading to India tomorrow. He had initially refused to go until visas were granted to others, and he contacted the Pakistani foreign agency regarding the matter.

An hour ago, he had a positive discussion with Jay Shah in a very friendly atmosphere, and the issue has been handled very well. It is now confirmed that visas for Pakistani cricket fans will also be issued soon.
