Pakistan government to promulgate 6 ordinances over legal reforms

ISLAMABAD – The government has decided to introduce legal reforms through six presidential ordinances.

According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has allowed to promulgate eight ordinances for different reforms.

The Law Ministry has prepared the proposed ordinances and their detail will be presented in a meeting of the cabinet.

The ordinances will be promulgated for reforms in civil laws, formation of the Legal and Justice Authority, protecting the inheritance rights of women, service tribunal, providing citizens legal assistance and legal system pertaining to girls and women.
