ISLAMABAD - Dejected skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed breaks silence ahead of crucial Australia tour of Pakistan national team.
Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that the upcoming National T20 Cup is an opportunity for players to perform and find their place in the national side for upcoming tour of Australia.
“There are places up for grab in the national team and the doors are open for those who will prove their strength in the National T20 Cup,” said Sarfraz who will be leading the Sindh team in a 12-day tournament slated to start from October 13 in Faisalabad.
Sarfraz said that the chief selector and he himself will be watching the players closely during the tournament.
“I think all eyes are on this tournament which is going to be important for every one of us. The performers will definitely get a chance to tour Australia with the national T20I team,” he added.
