Pakistan's first ever women resource centre being established

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan's first ever Women Resource Centre is being established at National Library in Islamabad to inculcate the habit of reading among women folk.
An agreement to this effect was signed in Islamabad on Thursday between the National Commission for Status of Women and National Library.
Speaking on the occasion, Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui said equipping women with education and keeping them abreast of modern social issues is a key to progress, prosperity and reformation of the society.
