PM Imran Khan reacts over media reports of deal with former PM Nawaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister Imran Khan reacts over media reports of deal with former PM Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan—while nullifying rumors of the deal—vowed to continue accountability indiscriminately.

Presiding over session of party’s spokespersons, the premier maintained that federal govt would not create hurdles if Nawaz Sharif fulfils legal procedures.

PM further added that Nawaz has been allowed to travel abroad purely on humanitarian grounds.

Earlier today, Federal Cabinet sanctioned removing the name of the ailing Nawaz Sharif from Exit Control List (ECL), GNN reported.

However, the cabinet has linked removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name from travel-ban-list with submission of security bonds.

Also, a proposal was also under consideration to keep documents of Nawaz Sharif’s assets as guarantee.

It has also been learned that Nawaz Sharif’s name will be removed from the ECL for a shorter duration. The supremo of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will be compelled to return once his treatment is over.
