Pakistani capital Islamabad to be converted into a tourist friendly city

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to transform Islamabad into a tourist-friendly city.

In this regard, the newly-appointed CDA Board, during its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, approved the formation of a facilitation center in the city where tourists will be guided regarding the available facilities in the federal capital. ------------------------------

The CDA Board has decided to launch a public awareness campaign to underscore the importance of visiting historical places in Islamabad and its adjoining areas.

It also approved to functionalize all libraries in the federal capital with immediate effect to promote the culture of book reading.

The CDA Board has also decided to organize events to highlight the importance of national culture.

Besides, the CDA Board has issued directions to complete the restoration of road infrastructure and to improve the sanitation situation in the federal capital as soon as possible.
