Maryam Nawaz Sharif breaks silence after several months of self imposed disappearance
ISLAMABAD - Maryam Nawaz Sharif, PML-N vice-president and daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, broke the silence several months, saying that she was silent for 'personal reasons' but that should not be taken as her motive. '
She said "There are many reasons for my silence, but if I speak today, will the media show up?"
Maryam Nawaz spoke to the media after a long time. He met Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in Islamabad and then answered media questions.
Answering a question, Maryam Nawaz said that she was with the supremacy of democracy and the constitution and that 'there is a strong relationship with this purpose'.
Answering a question regarding the leadership of the party, Maryam Nawaz said, "When my leadership understands and directs me to play my role forward, I will not be behind.
