Govt committed to raise EOBI pension amount: Zulfikar Bukhari

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfikar Bukhari has said the government is committed to raise Employees' Old-Age Benefits Institution pension amount up to minimum fifteen thousand rupees by 2023.
Talking to APP, he said it is imperative to utilize EOBI funds rationally to handle the expenses to be incurred in five years.
Zulfikar Bukhari said a white paper is being issued to highlight the corruption of the previous EOBI bosses, involved in malpractices and misusing of their powers for vested interests.
