KABUL - Afghan Taliban responds over media reports regarding founding leader Mullah Umer presence near US Military Base in Afghanistan.
Taliban in a statement confirms the report which says their founding leader Mullah Mohammad Omar lived in Afghanistan before he died.
The group says in a tweet that Mullah Omar "had never left Afghanistan".
The Afghan government has rejected the report as baseless.
