China welcomes Japan's participation in BRI

China has welcomed Japan's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
Commerce Minister Zhong Shan at a press conference on the side-lines of the annual legislative session said today the Belt and Road Initiative is open, inclusive and transparent.
Zhong Shan expressed willingness to cooperate with Japan within the Belt and Road framework. APP/AFP
