LONDON: English cricketers Chris Jordan and Dawid Malan were overwhelmed by the response given to them by cricket fans in Pakistan during the final of Pakistan Super League (PSL) at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, and both of them are willing to visit Pakistan again.
The players told that they decided to come to Pakistan after getting complete assurance from the franchise. They said their families were not in favor of their visit to Pakistan and they themselves were nervous after taking the ultimate decision, but both players are now satisfied after playing the final.
Jordan and Malan said the warm welcome that was given to them by fans, fellow Pakistan cricketers and management lessened their worries, and presence of International Cricket Council (ICC) officials in dressing room was also a confidence booster.
Dawid Malan said that if this was a small step to bring international cricket back in Pakistan then it would be great to play this event again in Pakistan in normal circumstances.
Chris Jordan said that he had absolutely no idea what was going to happen in Pakistan but it proved out to be a wonderful experience eventually. He said that he does not know about the future circumstances, but if is asked to go tomorrow he is ready.
