English Cricketer Dawid Malan praises COAS

England cricketer Dawid Malan said that he was honored to be given such a fantastic gesture by Pakistan’s Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
“Honoured to be given such a fantastic gesture by the COAS of Pakistan. They did an amazing job for the PSL final and bringing cricket back,” Malan said in a message on Twitter.
His response came hours after General Bajwa hosted a reception for Peshawar Zalmi, the winner of the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).The army chief felicitated Zalmi for their victory and described foreign players, who came to Pakistan for the final, as national heroes.
In addition to Malan, fellow English seamer Chris Jordan and West Indian duo Darren Sammy and Marlon Samuels played the final in Lahore.
