Pakistan Women cricket team departs for India


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan women cricket team led by captain Sana Mir has left for India to participate in the T20 World Cup here at Saturday. Women cricket team will arrive in India via Dubai.

 

As per details, women cricket team has departed for Dubai from Karachi Airport where the team will go to India. Women cricket team players were optimistic to win the T20 World cup.

 

Women team will play its first match against West Indies while the second match will be played between India and Pakistan women team.

 

While talking to media captain Sana Mir said that women team is ready to give tough time to all teams including India. Talking about her captaincy Sana said that she has informed PCB that she will quit from captaincy after world cup but she will continue her career as a player.

 

Women cricket team coach Muhtasham Rashid said that players are fully prepared to perform in the World cup.
