Pakistan Cricket squad to reach Kolkata tonight

LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team has departed from Lahore Airport for India to participate in the T20 World Cup. National team will arrive in Kolkata tonight via Abu Dhabi through a private airline.

As per details, Pakistan cricket team has left for India from Lahore Airport where team was received with warm welcome by cricket fans. Pakistani team consist of 15 players which included Captain Shahid Afridi, Ahmad Shahzad, Muhammad Hafeez, Sharjeel, Shoaib Malik, Irfan, Sami, Anwar Ali, Amad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Umer Akmal and Khalid Latif.

12 team officials including Head Coach Waqar Younis left for India with Pakistani team. Pakistan cricket squad will reach Kolkata tonight and will stay at Taj Hotel in Kolkata. Indian Army contingent have been deployed outside the Taj Hotel for the security of the Pakistan cricket team.

Pakistan will play its first warm-up match against Sri Lanka on Sunday while Pakistan will play its first match on March 16. Pakistan will play its second match against India on March 19 in Eden Garden stadium.
