Interior department issues threat alert recieved from Indian side to Sindh Government

KARACHI: The arrested terrorists have revealed during the interrogation that they wanted to hit 15 places in Pakistan. The terrorists had been arrested by Law enforcement agencies while they had links with Al-Qaida and TTP.

As per details, during interrogation, terrorists revealed that they had planned to hit foreigners, oil refinery, Sindh Assembly, Police Club, Superintendent Karachi Jail, DIG East Office, Police and Rangers mobile while they had also planned to target Drigh Road Police Chowki, Saeedabad Training Centre and Rangers officers.

On the other hand, Interior Department Sindh has issued threat alert to Police and Rangers that India may attack Pakistan in the wake of Pathankot attacks.

A letter has been sent to Police and Rangers authorities by Sindh home department in this regard and urged them to take concrete measures in order to avoid any unpleasant situation.

The letter stated that India may hit the airports and other military installations through Taliban and other terrorist groups. Sindh IG and Rangers officials have been asked to make strict security arrangements of sensitive places.
