LAHORE – PTI government decides to reactivate dormant Lambardari system across Punjab province.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Sunday decided to activate Lambardari system across the province on Sunday.

According to the details garnered, the Punjab CM approved measures for the activation of the Lambardari system.

Under the system, the lambardars will be made partners in important government initiatives, and 14 principal responsibilities will be taken care of under the Lambardari system.

Nearly 45,000 lambardars will be entrusted with important responsibilities. However, the briefing about the Lambardari system has been given to Usman Buzdar.

It is noteworthy that the recovery of government dues will be accelerated by enabling the Lambardari system. Lambardar will also look at government receipts for completion records. Reports on violations will also be the responsibility of the lambardars.

The reporting of damage to public buildings will also be the responsibility of the Lambardari system.
