CM Punjab, Iranian Consul General discuss matters of mutual interest

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that Pakistan and Iran have historical relations and both the countries need to work on continuously for further cementing these brotherly ties.
He expressed these views while talking to Iranian Consul General Reza Naziri, who called on him in Lahore.
Matters of mutual interest, promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation in diverse sectors were discussed during the meeting.
On the occasion, Iranian Consul General said all possible measures will be taken for expansion of relations.
Later, Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad also met the Chief Minister.
During the meeting, Sheikh Rashid informed him about issues and problems of traders of Rawalpindi.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister assured him to resolve the issues and problems of business community on priority basis.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Khan Buzdar has said that the government is spending all available resources for development of the health sector across the province.
Talking to the media during his visit to the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute in Lahore this afternoon, he said that scope of work of health sector is being expanded to every nook and corner of the province to provide better healthcare facilities to the citizens at their doorsteps.
He said that nine thousand recruitments have been made in the health sector on merit, while further fourteen thousand people will be recruited in a transparent manner.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that Punjab Kidney & Liver Institute will be completed in June this year.
