National Women Day being observed today

National Women Day is being observed across the country on Tuesday (12 February).
The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan in collaboration with Federal Ombudsman Secretariat for Protection against Harassment is holding special programs to mark the day.
The special features include "Exhibition of Women Artisans-at-Work" featuring women master artisans in different specialized craft fields and a prestigious opening ceremony with live colourful folk musical performances by young women artists and multi-media presentations on women issues.
National Women's Day is an opportunity to recognize women's achievements without regard to divisions, whether national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic or political.
