Acting US Defense Secretary in Afghanistan to meet Ghani

Acting US Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan has arrived in Afghanistan to meet President Ashraf Ghani, in continuation of Afghan peace process.
In a media talk, on his arrival, Patrick Shanahan termed the involvement of Afghan government in peace talks as a positive development in the efforts to end the 17-year-old war in the country.
