UK's Boris meets Myanmar 's Suu Kyi on Rohingya crisis

In Myanmar, British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson met with Aung San Suu Kyi in Naypyidaw today(Sunday)  to press for action on the Rohingya crisis.

The meeting followed his visit to a refugee camp in Bangladesh's Cox's Bazar district, where nearly 700,000 Rohingya Muslims have sought sanctuary in squalid settlements.

The United Nations has accused Myanmar of driving the Muslim minority across the border in an ethnic cleansing campaign.

According to reports, at least 6,700 Rohingyas died in the first month of violence.(APP)
