Pakistan Ulema Council declares ISIS and TTP as Khawarij

ISLAMABAD: Addressing the conference titled “Message of Islam” religious scholars said that terrorists are using the name of Islam for their objectives while Islam is religion of peace and terrorism, sectarianism do not have any connection with Islam.
As per details, Pakistan Ulema Council organized a conference titled Message of Islam here in Islamabad. Religious scholars across the country participated in the conference.
While speaking at this occasion, the religious scholars declared ISIS (Daesh) and TTP as Khawarij and said that those who kill innocent people do not have any link with Islam.
They pointed out that the unity of Muslim Ummah is the only solution of all issues and the Muslim countries should resolve their disputes through dialogues.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said that it is also responsibility of religious scholars to put the society on the right path and they should play their effective role in this regard.
Palestine Mufti Azam, Saudi Ambassador and others also addressed the conference and vowed to combat menace of terrorism and extremism with the power of education and unity.
