Kamal calls for using modern technology to tackle environmental challenges August 12, 2020

ISLAMABAD- Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has stressed the need for using modern technology and reforms in the environment sector to deal with environmental challenges effectively.
Chairing a meeting held in Quetta to review the departmental affairs of Environmental Protection Agency Balochistan, the Chief Minister instructed to enact legislation to make the acquisition of NOC mandatory from the Environment Department for public and private construction projects to ensure environmental protection.
He also directed to fill vacant technical and other posts in the department by recruitment of skilled candidates.
Earlier, Provincial Secretary Environmental Protection Abdul Saboor Kakar briefed the meeting about the performance and achieved targets of his department.
