PPP offers yet another olive branch to MQM Pakistan

KARACHI - Addressing media after a high-level party meeting, PPP Leader Nasir Hussain Shah announced that former CM Murad Ali Shah has again been nominated by PPP for the slot while Agha Siraj Durrani and Rehana Laghari have been nominated as Speaker and Deputy Speaker respectively.
Nasir Shah added that PPP is open to talk to all parties for forming the government in the province including the newly formed Tehreek-e-Labbaik.
When asked about taking Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on board, he said that talks can be done with any party “but if they are to become a part of (PPP-led) coalition government, MQM will have to take back the “demand of Sindh’s division through the formation of 21 provinces as is present in their manifesto”.
Terming the Grand Democratic Alliance an “anti-poor alliance”, the PPP leader said that people of Sindh rejected its leaders in the general elections.
Sindh Assembly session has has been summoned on August 13 at 10am.
