LAHORE – JUI-F Chief Moulana Fazal ur Rehman lands into deep trouble as a petition has been filed against him for registration of case.
A resident of Lahore’s Ravi Link Road Mohammad Ramzan on Sunday lodged plea to register case against Jamiat Ulema-e Islam (F) Chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman over alleged sacrilege of ideology of Pakistan.
The petitioner alleges Fazalur Rehman was guilty of disrespecting Pakistan ideology as he announced not to celebrate Independence Day.
The plea further states that JUI (F) chieftain used obscene words against Pakistan Army and Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Saqib Nisar. The plea seeks registration of case against Rehman under Article-6 of the constitution.
The petitioner accused police of absconding legal action and warned officials that he would move court if his plea is not entertained.
