Pakistan-Bahrain to enhance cooperation in interior affairs

ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan's Ambassador to Bahrain, Javed Malik on Thursday called on an important figure of royal family and Interior Minister Bahrain, Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Both sides agreed to further enhance mutual cooperation in interior affairs under an agreement in this regard.
The Pakistani envoy apprised the minister about the problems being faced by Pakistanis residing in Bahrain.
Shaikh Rashid said that both countries have been on long lasting and strong brotherly relations.
He said that mutual understanding among Pakistan and Bahrain was improving after the negotiation between two sides.
The minister said the Pakistanis residing in Bahrain were playing an important role for national security and development of the country.
The Pakistani envoy on the occasion gave a formal invitation to the Bahrain Interior Minister to visit Pakistan.
