US top envoy held important meetings in Afghanistan over peace process

US Special Envoy on Afghanistan Reconciliation, Zalmay Khalilzad held a meeting with head of the High Council for National Reconciliation Abdullah Abdullah, and the leadership committee of the Council in Kabul to discuss the peace process.
Khalilzad also met with the Afghan President Ashraf Ghani.
According to a statement issued by the Presidential Palace, they discussed the peace process and the upcoming Turkey conference on Afghanistan.
