Imam-e-Kaaba arrives on 7-day visit

ISLAMABAD: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany arrived here on a seven days visit, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, Saudi Ambassador in Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council Maulana Tahir Ashrafi welcomed the disguished guest.
Ministry’s spokesman Imran Siddique told APP that Imam-e-Kaaba will lead Juma prayers in Faisal Mosque and also attend a seminar of International Islamic University.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has arranged a dinner in honour of the distinguish guest.
The Imam would attend Paigham-e-Pakistan conference on April 13 and 14. He will meet the leadership of Pakistan, Ulemas and scholars. The Imam will also visit Badshahi Mosque, Lahore and lead prayers there.
He will return home on April 17.
