*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), the national flagcarrier has purchased an airline management, sales and revenue system froma Turkish company.*
“In a major development PIA has shifted to leading Turkish, IT SolutionsCompany, HITIT Computer Services. The new system is in operation from12th September,2018,” announced the company in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier, it was reported that PIA has decided to disband Sabre and to useTurkish HTIT Computer System.
PIA was of the view, that the newly implemented software system will notonly be cost effective but will also add additional value, which couldimprove the business activity of the cash starved airline.

“The new IT Solutions partner will definitely bring more modernization andconvenience to our valued customers,” said Chairman and CEO of PIA,Muhammad Saqib Aziz. The national carrier has however, requested itscustomers to remain patience in case of any inconvenience during thetransformation process.
