In the pursuit of comprehensive discussions concerning the impending general elections in the nation, President Dr. Arif Alvi convened yet another meeting with the caretaker Law Minister, Ahmad Irfan Aslam, earlier today.
This significant meeting took place at Aiwan-i-Sadr in Islamabad, further underscoring the commitment to fostering an open dialogue between the president and the interim government concerning the electoral procedures.
In a statement released afterward, President Arif Alvi emphasized the constructive nature of these consultations, expressing optimism that they would serve to bolster the democratic processes within the country.
It is worth noting that during the meeting, President Alvi mentioned the presidential authority in relation to the announcement of the general election date.
