On Monday, a special court issued an order permitting the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman to engage in a phone conversation with his sons until September 15. This decision came after a hearing in the special court, established under the Official Secrets Act, where Chairman PTI had filed a petition against the Attock Jail Superintendent.
Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain instructed the jail superintendent to ensure compliance with the court's orders, allowing the PTI chairman to talk to his sons by September 15.
Additionally, the judge requested a progress report by the same date. It's worth noting that the PTI chief had filed a contempt of court petition against the Attock Jail superintendent, citing non-compliance with previous court orders regarding his phone conversations with his son
