Government increases the minimum wages for workers

In the first-ever provincial cabinet meeting held in Multan, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, presided over the meeting. The Punjab provincial cabinet approved a minimum wage increase of 32,000 rupees for workers, according to details.
In reference to government employees' salaries, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi also ordered the immediate issuance of a notification.
The cabinet meeting in Multan discussed 39 agenda items. The cabinet meeting also approved providing free facilities to senior citizens, disabled individuals, and students on the Metro bus and Orange Line train in Multan.
