Punjab government takes important decision over reopening of the Marriage Halls

Punjab government has decided to reopen wedding halls and marquees from 15 September after a decline in Coronavirus cases across the province.
However, the administrations of the halls must ensure adherence to COVID-19 SOPs devised by the provincial government. ------------------------------
According to the COVID-19 SOPs prepared by the Punjab government, everyone inside the hall including the bride and groom must wear facemasks all the time.
The relatives of the bride and groom must observe considerable distance during family group photos.
Management of a wedding hall will be required to accommodate guests to only half of the total capacity. It must ensure that waiters and other staff members wear facemasks and the availability of hand sanitizers in the halls.
