Shoaib Malik, the former captain and all-rounder of the national Cricket Team, found his prediction regarding Pakistan's performance in the World Cup 2023 to be accurate. During the innings break, while participating in a discussion on a private channel, Shoaib Malik presented his analysis, forecasting that Pakistan's team would achieve their highest-ever total of 345 runs.
He explained that the pitch conditions were favorable, superior to those experienced in previous matches. He anticipated that not only Sri Lanka's batting, but their bowling lineup as well, would struggle, which would aid Pakistan in pursuing this formidable target.
He added that if two top-order players managed to score centuries on this pitch, the target would become relatively easy to chase.
It's important to note that Pakistan secured two victories in their first two World Cup matches. Batsmen Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique both scored centuries, contributing to a record run-chase and leading Pakistan to a six-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
