Nawaz Sharif finally leaves London for Pakistan via Saudi Arabia

Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has embarked on a private journey to Saudi Arabia before his planned return to Pakistan on October 21, as reported by ARY News on Wednesday.

He will be flying to Jeddah via Saudi Airlines flight SV 116 from London Airport. A group of PML-N supporters gathered outside Avenfield House to see him off.

Following his scheduled arrival in Pakistan on October 21, Nawaz Sharif intends to visit Dubai after performing Umrah in Saudi Arabia. Recently, it was revealed that the former prime minister had reserved a ticket for a flight to Islamabad from Dubai, which has been named "Umeed-e-Pakistan."

This special flight will include a stopover in Islamabad. Notably, PML-N senior organizer Maryam Nawaz expressed her confidence in Nawaz Sharif's ability to address the nation's crises.

She pointed out that in the 76-year history of the country, no other Prime Minister besides Nawaz Sharif has successfully curbed or minimized inflation. Despite spending 11 years in exile during his 35-year political career, Maryam Nawaz remains optimistic about his leadership.

It's worth mentioning that former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif previously announced Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan on October 21 and assured a grand welcome for him. He attributed Nawaz Sharif's removal from power to a conspiracy and noted that the 2018 general elections' alleged rigging had disadvantaged Pakistan in the region.
