The President of the country, Dr. Arif Alvi, has stated that bitterness should end, cooperation and a path for progress should be found. He emphasized the need for strengthening democracy in the country, providing equal opportunities for all political parties and their leadership to participate in the electoral process.
According to details, former federal minister and senator Muhammad Ali Durani had a third meeting with the President in the past few days. These meetings are seen as a positive step towards the reconciliation measures being taken on the country between the Polotical parties and especially between PTI and Establishment.
Dr. Arif Alvi said that future elections should be free, fair, transparent, and comprehensive. He emphasized that for the strength of democracy in the country, all political parties and their leadership should be provided equal opportunities to participate in the electoral process.
He further stated that facing challenges in all possible dimensions, including the economy, requires unity among political, institutional, and stakeholder entities. For this, bitterness should be eliminated, and a path for cooperation and progress should be paved.
Public support and shared national ownership are necessary for making difficult decisions. Future elections present a good opportunity for national reconstruction, and political inclusivity is crucial for the spirit of democracy.
On the other hand, the efforts of Asad Qaiser and Muhammad Ali Durani, the head of the political committee of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, are commendable. In a conversation with Muhammad Ali Durani, he stated that their party's stance is not to seek confrontation with institutions under any circumstances.
Apart from Muhammad Ali Durani, there are others making efforts for reconciliation, and they are hopeful that understanding will prevail.
He also mentioned that what is happening with PTI is based on misunderstanding and lack of understanding. They don't believe in a policy of revenge. He expressed his belief that PTI's difficult time is coming to an end and reaffirmed his confidence in Imran Khan as the leader of the party, hoping that Imran Khan will soon be among the people.
