Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah in trouble over issue of arrest warrants

RAWALPINDI: The court of senior civil judge Rawalpindi on Tuesday returned Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah’s plea against the release of his arrest warrant with an objection.
On October 8, a special judicial magistrate in Rawalpindi had issued non-bailable arrest warrants link for Interior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah in a corruption.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) legal team moved the court against the issuance of an arrest warrant for Rana Sanaullah, but the court raised an objection to it.
The court directed the legal team to submit the power of attorney with Rana Sanaullah’s signature on it.
Earlier, a team of the Punjab Anti-corruption Establishment (ACE) tasked with the arrest of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah link returned empty-handed due to the ‘non-cooperation’ from Islamabad.
