*LAHORE - Imran Ali Yousaf, son in law of the former CM Shahbaz Sharif gets a shock from the Accountability Court.*
* The accountability court on Thursday ordered to seize property owned by Imran Ali Yousuf, son-in-law of former chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif.*
The court ordered the National Accountability Bureau to seize property of Ali in a corruption case. Imran Ali is accused of receiving Rs 131 million graft from Ikram Naveed, the former CEO of the Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC), and is the subject of a NAB probe.
The NAB submitted its probe report before the accountability court judge Muhammad Azam.
On August 7, the same accountability court had declared Yousaf a proclaimed absconder on the request of the NAB.
He first appeared before NAB investigators in April but has since missed his scheduled hearings and left the country for London.
In May this year, the NAB again summoned Mr Yousaf as he was asked to bring details of a transaction of over Rs 100 million deposited to his bank account from the account of the PPDC, but he did not appear.
