PM Kakar makes important demands at OIC Summit in Riyadh
In Riyadh, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar expressed Pakistan's demand for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid to reach the people of Gaza without delay.
He highlighted the illegal occupation of Palestinian territory by Israel, underscoring the imperative for prompt dialogue.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman held Israel accountable for the "crimes committed against the Palestinian people" and urged an end to the Gaza Strip's siege.
During the summit, Prince Mohammed characterized the conflict as a "humanitarian catastrophe," exposing the Security Council and the international community's failure to address Israeli violations.
