High magnitude earthquake tremors shook the country

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 has been recorded in the province of Maluku, Indonesia; however, no tsunami alert has been issued following the earthquake.
According to Chinese news sources, the country's meteorological and geological agencies reported that tremors from the earthquake were felt in the Maluku province of Indonesia.
The earthquake's epicenter, recorded at a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale, was located 249 kilometers northwest of Tenggara Barat Maluku district, 10 kilometers beneath the sea's surface. No information about casualties or financial losses has been reported.
