Gold prices register massive decrease in Pakistan

Today, the gold prices in the country have decreased by 2100 rupees per tola. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-carat gold in the country has dropped to 2 lakh 11 thousand rupees per tola after a decrease of 2100 rupees.
Following a reduction of 1800 rupees, the association states that the price of 24-carat gold for 10 grams is now 1 lakh 80 thousand 898 rupees. As per the association, the global market price of gold has decreased by 17 dollars, reaching 1958 dollars per ounce. Yesterday, there was an increase of 1300 rupees in the price per tola, after which the gold price reached a record 2 lakh 13,100 rupees.
