Ace Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah achieves Major Milestone

During the ICC Cricket World Cup, Pakistan's fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi has equaled the record of former captain Wasim Akram. Shaheen has matched the record for the most wickets taken by a Pakistani fast bowler in a single edition of the World Cup.
The left-arm fast bowler claimed a total of 18 wickets in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Wasim Akram had also taken 18 wickets in the 1992 World Cup. The record for taking the most wickets in a single World Cup on behalf of Pakistan is held by Shahid Afridi. He achieved this feat by taking 21 wickets in 8 matches during the 2011 World Cup.
