ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi says the Indian Supreme Court's decision in Babri Masjid case does not match the basic international rules regulations and ethics.
Addressing a rally in connection with Jashen-e-Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (SWAS) in Multan today, he said the steps being taken by Modi regime are making the life of minorities, especially the Muslims, more miserable.
The Foreign Minister said demolishing of Babri Masjid at Ayodhya was a proof of the misbehavior with minorities by the extremist Hindus.
He said the decision to provide substitute place for construction of historic mosque is no remedy for the Indian Muslims.
Shah Mehmood said Indian government has disconnected internet service, closed schools and deployed paramilitary force in Aligarh to hide the ground realities from people of India and International community.
He said five thousand innocent people have been detained by Indian security forces to spread harassment among people who want to protest against the Indian government's illegal steps.
The Foreign Minister said Indian Supreme Court is under pressure from Narendra Modi's regime and delaying the hearing of the petition filed against illegal occupation of Kashmir.
