ISLAMABAD: (APP) Chilam Joshi Festival in Kalash Valley
Chilam Joshi, a four-day festival, would start on May 13 at Kalash Valley, some 27 kilometres from Chitral.
The festival commemorates the onset of summer in the region and celebrates the abundance of dairy products during the season.
This festival gives an excellent opportunity for faraway people to celebrate which gives a message of peace to the world.
During this festival, the Kalashi people pray for the safety of their fields and animals by distributing milk among loved ones.
